Recent high tides topped 10 ft. That’s the highest I’ve seen in the 25 years I’ve lived in Port Townsend.
One block off Port Townsend’s main drag there are some interesting shops. This is the Antique Mall with old Christmas display figures and past presents.
This is not Port Townsend, but the chapel in Yosemite Valley, CA. It just seemed to make a nice card and express the season.
This is not a Photoshop effect. The photo was made entirely in camera with a double exposure and deliberate camera movement. The idea was to convey the feel of heavy rain and how it affected Christmas shoppers.
Keep those Christmas presents dry
A photo of lights for the longest night of the year.
The was taken inside the downtown bus stop.
This is taken before hours on a Saturday, before the holiday rush hit the office. It will be a sad day when this beautiful old building finally gets closed. There are no plans that I’m aware of to do so, but the way mail is dropping, it will happen someday.
